Art in the Park & Back to Nature Festival
Enjoy a weekend of Art and Nature in beautiful South Mobile on Mother’s Day Weekend May 11-13th. Bring Mom and enjoy a variety of activities and events centered in Dauphin Island’s Historic Cadillac square.
The Art in the Park juried art show will be held from 9am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. The show will feature work by over 30 local and Regional artists.
“Back to Nature Festival” events will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Registration for tours will be held from 8am-5pm Friday at the Estuarium and Saturday from 9am-4pm in Cadillac Square. A one time registration fee of $20 will be charged to offset the expense of Nature tours and events. Children under 12 will not be charged.
Back to Nature events will include kyak lessons, kayak marsh tours, birding and history boat tours, nature walks on the beach and forest, wildlife/ raptor exhibitions and children’s activities. Many events (including the art show and exhibits in Cadillac square) are free to the public. Tours and activities require a one time $20 registration fee.
