Alabama is home to a variety of wonderful restaurants. While most of them attract locals, many others attract visitors from afar. In fact, many people have traveled many miles to discover some of our restaurants. Below are seven of Alabama’s best destination restaurants that are definitely worth checking out. You will want to visit them all.

1. The shining star – Bessemer

Irondale Cafe was the inspiration for the Whistle Stop Cafe in Fannie Flagg’s novel “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe”.
