Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will be performing in Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile this spring, according to tour information released on Monday.

According to details provided by Birmingham-based Red Mountain Entertainment, an upcoming spring leg of the “Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour” will include the following stops:

March 21: Montgomery Performing Arts Center, 8 p.m., tickets $69.50 and $89.50 plus fees.

April 5: Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center Concert Hall, 8 p.m., tickets $59.50, $79.50 and $119.50 plus fees.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 4 at Ticketmaster outlets.

The tour takes its name from the album “Rough and Rowdy Ways”, released in June 2020. The album received generally positive reviews and Billboard reported that the single “Murder Most Foul” was Dylan’s first song to reach the number 1. on any of its charts. The achievement was all the more remarkable considering the unusual nature of the songa 17-minute track about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It topped the Rock Digital Song Sales Chart.

Dylan is no stranger to Alabama. He performed in Birmingham, Mobile and Huntsville in 2016, and also recorded a video performance during a secret visit to WorkPlay. Other appearances include stops in Mobile and Huntsville in 2018. In 2019 he appeared at The Wharf in Orange Beach with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp.
