The high school football season is in its second week, and UAB commitments are seeing early success with their teams.

Here’s a look at how the UAB engagements went during the second week of action:
Jaxon Potter, QB, Santa Margarita (California): Potter completed 21 of 34 passes for 289 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 36-14 win over Norco, leading his team to a 2-0 record to open the season.
Christopher Bracy, BC, St. Paul’s: Bracy, who is drafted as a cornerback, led the game off St. Paul with 61 yards and a score in a 16-3 win over McGill-Toolen.
Michael Towner, DL, Vigor: Towner had 6 tackles (2 for a loss), 3 quarterback carries and a sack in a 20-7 loss to BC Rain on Thursday.
Emmanuel Waller, DL, Oak Mountain: After suffering an injury in the first half of last week’s game, Waller returned for the Eagles this week while collecting 4 tackles (2 for loss) and a sack in a 21-17 win over Pelham.
Christopher Pearson, S, Orange Beach: The Makos did not play and opened their season next week at home against Jackson.
