Margaret McFadden, who died aged 82 on 2nd July 2021.
The birth date was 21st of August, the 21st of August 1938, in Ozark situated in Arkansas located in Arkansas. Her parents were James Ray and Louise Andrews McFadden. The family relocated in during the time that Margaret was a small girl from Mobile and she was a graduate of Murphy High School in 1956. Margaret attended Auburn University where she met the most important person of her entire life Walter Addy. She left Auburn to be married on the 29th of November, 1957. She was an army wife and later mother to three children: Ken, Lynn and Susan. The family then moved to Enterprise from Enterprise into Enterprise in Enterprise in Enterprise, and Walter continued to be a part of and travel in and travel with the United States Army. of the United States Army.
In the time of Enterprise, Margaret and Walter were the first couple to be a part of The Open Door Baptist Church. Margaret received the B.A. in Education as in addition to an MA in Education at the graduate level during her time at Troy State University. Margaret was a loved teacher. The classes taught by her were in Wicksburg from 1972 until 1983. In 1983 the third-grade classes she taught were classes at Baker Elementary and Collier Elementary until her retirement in 2000.
She could enjoy her retirement travels across the world with Walter and other travelers , and caring for as well her loved ones and relaxing in her favorite spot, Dauphin Island. Family and friends who were hers are remembered for her unwavering faith and spirit, as well as the ability and wisdom that they brought into their jobs as selfless teachers and her unwavering dedication and love for those she loved dearly and her devotion to every person she met in her life.
Margaret is preceded in death by her father James Ray McFadden and mother Louise Andrews McFadden and three sisters: Jean Gritten, Louise Burkett and Sara Montwicki.
Her husband been with for the past three decades, Walter Addy; three children, Ken (Carolyn) Addy of Enterprise, Lynn Boley of Houston, Texas and Susan (Jeff) Holsapple living in Pompano Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Joshua Lamp, Donnie Lamp, Mark Ingram, Alyssa Ingram, Stephen Addy, Tim Addy and Paris Frederick; seven great-grandchildren, Brooks Addy, MaryBlake Addy, Walton Addy, Emmalynn Addy, Luke Williams, Jimi Williams and Jack Hedges and aunts and uncles of nephews, along with many beloved acquaintances.
Family members will be able to receive the guests between noon and 1 p.m. on the 7th day of July. Thursday, at the Spring Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will take place on July 8th on Thursday evening around 1.30 p.m. at the Spring Hill Baptist Church. Funeral funeral services and burial will be held at around 22:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
