STRONG SPANISH, Ala. (WKRG) – The family of a missing man has launched a GoFundMe to help with the search.

A GoFundMe called “Help Find Jermey Hale” was started online by members of Hale’s family who have been missing since April 20. In the GOFundMe, the family says: “Jeremy was thrown into the water and unfortunately has not yet been recovered. Please help his family, friends and the kind volunteers continue their search efforts so that they can eventually get Jeremy back and receive the closure this family and friends deserve. All funds raised will go towards volunteer search efforts and final costs. “

The search efforts have been arduous on family, government officials and volunteers almost every day since his disappearance. The family told News 5 on April 25 that they plan to go out on the kayaks every day to find Hale so they can find the closure and start crying. Robert Belsome, Hale’s grandfather said that day “You know it’s going to be hard on everyone, whoever finds this body is going to be a fight, but we’re going to find it.” Belsome says anyone with the ability to get out on the water to help with the research is more than welcome. He says he can be reached at 251-802-8677.
