Mobile, Alabama. (WALA) – On Thursday, the Dwell Mobile organization announced its intention to help Afghan refugees settling in Mobile.
This group specializes in helping refugee families settle into their new lives. And that gives them the opportunity to do so.
“We will provide post-resettlement services to these arriving families,” said Executive Director Jeri Stroade.
It was during an open house for Dwell Mobile on Thursday where we met Mugisho Moses Muhubao
Moïse came to the United States in high school from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He got involved in the organization a few years ago. He understands the road ahead for new Afghan refugees.

“When we are in our foreign countries, we know that America is a place of refuge where we are going to have the dream. We are going to do whatever we want to do with a living. So, for these brothers who come, we welcome them. We think this place will be a good place for them. As long as they believe in hard work, obeying the laws and whatever America demands, ”Muhubao said.
And he says that with a little understanding, anyone can benefit from it.
“It would be nice if people here weren’t afraid of them and interacted with them. The more we can interact with each other, the more we can understand that we are in relation to each other. same place, and we all have a common goal. That’s all that matters, “Muhubao said.
It is not known when the organization will be able to help these arriving refugees.
