The Wharf Hosts Independence Day Weekend With Pepsi Beach Ball Drop
The balls will have prizes for sunglasses, attraction passes, coolers, chairs, concert tickets
(OBA®) – Orange Beach, AL – The Wharf will kick off Independence Day weekend with the annual Pepsi® Beach Ball Drop on July 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. Properties of the beach ball.
Again, this year, over four thousand beach balls will fall from above Marlin Circle – some specially marked for redeemable prizes such as sunglasses, coolers, chairs, attraction passes and even concert tickets.
There will be a variety of children’s activities available throughout the night including: a surf simulator, bouncy house, bubble zone, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, animals live and makeup priced at $ 5 to $ 10. The fireworks will burst, crackle and erupt to the beat of a patriotic-themed musical element at 8:45 p.m. with the SPECTRA laser light experience immediately following at the end of the evening.
For those unable to make it to the venue, the Pepsi Beach Ball Drop will be televised live on WKRG News 5 throughout the event, with the drop taking place around 6:40 p.m.
The property will also host a three-night July 2-4 performance of leading country artist Luke Combs with special guests Channing Wilson and Flatland Cavalry at the Wharf Amphitheater as part of the 2021 C Spire concert series. Tickets are still available at the Wharf Amphitheater box office and on Ticketmaster.com.
Other events take place throughout the summer, including the So. A lot. Summer. now runs through August 8 and the famous Blue Marlin Grand Championship from July 16 to 17.
