This week with the Crimson Tide: November 1-7, 2021

With the weather getting colder, Alabama is chasing the championships in many of its fall sports as they come to a close.
Alabama football will play LSU on Saturday in what is not considered a competitive game. Both teams will have a week off, and this will be the last time Ed Orgeron faces the Crimson Tide as LSU head coach. The game will begin at 6 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama football is in Orange Beach, Ala., To face Ole Miss in the SEC tournament quarterfinal game at 2:30 p.m. CT Tuesday. The Crimson Tide won their regular season final against Auburn 1-0 last Thursday, moving him to the No. 6 seed in the tournament. The winner will play Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. CT.
After completing a weekend doubles program against Georgia, the Alabama volleyball will travel down Highway 82 to Starkville to face Mississippi State Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. CT. They will be looking to put an end to their difficulties on the road as they are currently 3-6 in away games. Alabama will close out their week with another weekend doubles schedule against Arkansas on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. CT and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. CT.
Alabama women’s basketball will host Alabama-Huntsville for an exhibition game Thursday at 6 p.m. CT for its first competition of the season. They begin their regular season on the same day as the men’s team, November 9.
Alabama men’s and women’s tennis will compete at the ITA Fall Nationals this weekend, Thursday through Sunday. The men’s team will also compete in the UCF Fall Invite over the weekend in Lake Nona, Fla.
Alabama baseball finished its fall ball schedule at Ole Miss, losing 6-4 to the Rebels in the 12-end scrum.
In basketball recruiting, Alabama targets Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney will announce their commitments Monday, and Jarace Walker will announce his Thursday.
