Top 10 Beaches Near Shreveport Bossier Where You Can Relax
Many people will be taking time off work over the next few weeks to reunite with family and friends for the holidays. You may be able to talk about when you will meet again.
Plan now for spring break
Some might start planning a trip for spring break. For some people, this might include a trip to the mountains for a ski trip. It’s funny. But if I just wanna sit back and relax, I wanna be at the beach. There is nothing better than digging your toes in the sand and watching the waves. I could even take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico (not too deep, thanks to Jaws). But my favorite times are just sipping a cocktail and listening to the waves crashing and watching all the kids and families enjoy some good, healthy times together.
Create great memories at the beach
I still have memories of my boys pushing around that little yellow dump truck along the beach. They would fill it with wet sand and push it back to where they were building a sandcastle masterpiece. These memories will never fade.
On my trips to the beach, we often celebrated with a seafood extravaganza. We piled the table with boiled crabs, boiled shrimp and oysters and dug. I’m not an oyster girl, so it would be left to others. But it was better than any vacation treat you will ever find.
If you’ve ever dreamed of putting your toes in the sand and running to the beach, we’ve put together a list of our favorite beach spots not too far from our area.
