Treat Mom to a Great Meal on Mother’s Day on the Gulf Coast of Alabama

Doc’s Seafood Shack and Oyster Bar and
Doc’s Seafood and Steaks will have okra and dynamite shrimp for appetizers, blackened mahi julee for $ 22.99 or a surf and turf with a 12-ounce rib eye and shrimp skewer for $ 28.99. Both come with a baked potato and a house salad. For dessert, choose a lime pie or cheesecake.
Travelers at the Perdido Beach Resort will have a brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include baked oyster appetizers, a braised pork cheek with tomato or a Scottish Creole egg. Choose from entrees of wagyu flat iron steak, Benedictine crab cake, seared scallops or Crouque Madame. The dessert choices are bourbon mascarpone cream, roasted pecan coffee pound cake, praline chocolate sauce with candied pecans or dark chocolate shavings and cocoa.

Playa to Safe Harbor Sportsman will be open for Mother’s Day. Fisher’s Upstairs will be open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and reopen at 5 p.m. for dinner. Playa will have its regular brunch hours and add specials for Mother’s Day.
Homeport Marina will adorn every mother dining there over the holidays with a carnation.
Mothers day at
Wolf Bay Lodge starts May 8 at 5 p.m. and lasts until Sunday May 9. For $ 55, offer mom a choice of crab-stuffed portobello or caprese fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Main courses are sea scallops seared with rice, sautéed vegetables, or a six-ounce filet mignon on a potato cake loaded with sautéed vegetables. For dessert mom can have white chocolate raspberry bread pudding or banana cheesecake favors.
The Undertow will have its weekly special on Saturday and Sunday of all you can eat Royal Reds – and crayfish in season – with taters, corn and sausage for $ 12.99.
