As part of this exclusive partnership, the company will continue to provide its player and ball tracking RFID technology to provide important information on player performance for practices leading up to the game and the game itself.
A new element of the exclusive partnership in 2022 will be Zebra’s presentation of several performance awards from offensive and defensive players in categories such as fastest player, longest distance traveled, most maximum acceleration, most passing. long, fastest pass, fastest pass, highest punt. and more. To enable data collection, Zebra attaches RFID tags to player shoulder pads to transmit real-time location data to collect metrics such as player speed, distance traveled, orientation, and acceleration.
